Kincraig Highland Wildlife Park

Kincraig Highland Wildlife Park offers an impressive setting to learn more about Scottish wildlife and endangered species from across the world. See incredible animals including a Red Panda, Pinemartins, Red Deer, Wolves, Tigers, Owls and even a Polar Bear.

Check out their time timetable for feeding times. Great observation platforms give the perfect view of dinner time, whilst learning more about the animals and important conservation work.

The park is only a 30 minute drive from Granite Cottage.

The Fun House

Situated in the grounds Hilton Coylumbridge Hotel resort, the Fun House promises to give kids the time of their lives. The Fun House provides a range of activities to suit every age and is only a 20 minutes drive from Granite Cottage.

From a soft play tree house, to a maze of slides and tunnels, mini golf, indoor swimming pool, video arcade and ten pin bowling, guarantees a great day out for the whole family.
There is also a day centre and creche with bookable two hour soft play sessions.

Pony Trekking

There are several pony trekking centres in the Cairngorms National Park and many within a 20 mile radius on Nethy Bridge. They offer everything from beginners lessons to multi-day treks.
As many of the treks are off track, there is the potential to see wildlife and enjoy the peace, space and magnificent scenery.

Landmark Forest Adventure Park

The Landmark Forest Adventure Park has everything thing you need to keep the kids entertained for the day. It is tremendously enjoyable for all ages.

A 15 minute drive away, it is jammed packed with activities including a timber trail, climbing wall, rollercoasters, high wires and great views from the Timber Tower.
